We would love for your family to join us soon for worship or our other activities for children and youth. We hope you will feel welcome to be our guest soon. Please contact the pastor if you have any questions.
Contemporary Service: 9:00AM
This Sunday - Youth Mission Trip Sunday at both 9AM and 11AM services – We know you will want to make that special effort to hear the many ways these youth were changed by God during their week in Shreveport. It was simply an amazing trip and we can’t wait for you to hear about it. The slideshow is ready to go and the youth are preparing their talks – see you Sunday morning.
This Sunday - Annual Potluck Fireworks Show and Picnic - 7:00 PM till dark.
What to bring? One large rocket firework or box (please no blackcats/roman candles), chairs for the family, a neighbor or two and the food item you signed up for in church.
Special Guests – We will welcome about 25 refugees from the Refugee Services Ministry in Burleson. They are taking field trips throughout the year to learn about American culture. Guess what – word on the street is that you need to be in Brock to learn about the 4th of July! Thank you to the Mission Team for making special arrangements to welcome these guests from all over the world.
How does this work? We will eat together and then sit way back as a few selected men do their best to stay safe while blowing up lots of fun fireworks.
Fellowship Hall Renovations - The Trustees have asked us to share that the fellowship hall renovation has begun. The kitchen will be remodeled and the carpet will be replaced. This should all be wrapped up before the end of July for Vacation Bible School. Stay tuned for ways in which you can help contribute to all of the renovation going on this summer. Our mighty Trustee Chair – Johnny Jordan – will make some announcements in church soon.
Giving Bucket - Rainbow Room is an emergency resource room managed by the Parker County Child Protective Services Board. It serves Parker County children and consists of a store-like setting that allows Child Protective Services workers to go “shopping” for the children and families on their caseloads. Lists of needs: Shampoo – regular and baby, Baby powder, Deodorant, Summer T-shirts (no tank or halter tops) and shorts – size 1 and 8 (match and put in a large ziplock bag and mark boy or girl and the size).
Please place your donated items in the green bucket in the tile hallway between the sanctuary and fellowship hall.
